Traits
Patterned Tail (Rare)
Tail patterning can appear on classic, tri-colored, and ribbon tails. The pattern usually continues down the full length of the tail, but can be shown on certain portions too.
Fish Tail (Special)
Tails fashioned in the shape of fish tails. They are predominantly made from waxy paper, but the texture of paper can vary. Only wax paper tails are water resistant.
Feathered Tail (Uncommon)
Rope tail trait where a majority of the rope itself has come undone and the ends have frayed apart. It creates a feathery, fan-like texture and shape.
This trait is restricted to Longhaired types only.
Bobtail (Uncommon)
The bobtail is a very short tail with a small cap blocking off the tassel. This causes the bow and bell to hide most of the tail.
This trait is restricted to Shorthaired types only.
Wire Tail (Special)
A strange and unique tail made from wire - ranging from an insulated cable to a bare coiled wire rope. The end of the tail can range from frayed wires to a plug (phone charger, outlet, etc).
Dandelion Tail (Rare)
A special tail where the tassel ends in a big round puff of thread, fabric, or a glass bulb (wire tail only).
This trait is restricted to maned types only.
Standard Tail Length (Common)
The tail length is equal to the length of the purrcy's body.
Short Tail Length (Uncommon)
The tail length is half the length of the purrcy's body, but long enough to still show a decent length of the tassels.
Long Tail Length (Rare)
The tail is longer than the length of the purrcy's body, but no more than twice the length of the purrcy's body.
Solid Tail Color (Mutation)
Rather than have multiple colored bands down the length of the tail, this mutation causes the tail to be one solid color.
A Nekomata Purrcerin's tails can be two different colors, so long as each tail is one solid color.
Block Tie (Common)
A wooden block hooks around the end of the tail, securing it at the base of the tassel. The wooden block can take on almost any shape, and can even have carvings or painted decor on it.
Tassel Decor (Common)
Decorative clips, baubles, string, ribbons, etc. are tied at the base of the tail tassel. Tassel Decor can be almost any kind of decor so long as it does NOT obstruct or completely cover the tassel end of the tail. The only exception to this is the Bobtail trait.
Ink Tip (Uncommon)
The tail tassel secretes - or seems to be dipped in - an ink that makes the tail function similarly to a paint brush. The ink can be just about any color. A Nekomata Purrcerin can have two different ink colors, one for each tail. A Shorthair Purrcerin with the Bobtail trait cannot have the Ink Tip trait.
Multicolor Tail (Rare)
Tails that consist of more than three colored stripes. Patterns displaying all colors vary, though it is rarely seen.
Classic Bell (Common)
The classic bell takes a plain, spherical or oval-shape.
Western Bell Trait (Uncommon)
The western bell has a bowl-like shape often seen in traditional shops and places of worship.
Wind Chime Bell (Rare)
A delicate bowl-shaped bell made of glass. It has a very soft ring compared to other bell jingles. They can be plain clear or colored glass, and can also be patterned.
A wind chime bell can also be Oddly-Shaped, but requires both the Wind Chime and Oddly-Shaped traits.
Oddly-Shaped Bell (Special)
A bell with a customized, non-traditional shape.
Broken Bell (Mutation)
It is VERY hard to break a Purrcerin bell, but it is irreversable. This can take place during a Purrcerin's manifestation or later in life, if damaged. Blight can occur on its own, but a broken bell will ALWAYS lead to blight.
this trait is considered a curse.
No Bell (Mutation)
This trait causes a Purrcerin to manifest with no bell at all. Purrcerins with no bell are looked at as bad omens and are almost entirely avoided by humans and other Purrcerins alike.
